eHentai is a visual generator first. The chat is fine, nothing more, but the images are where it genuinely shines — and that’s what most people come for. Good news: the whole form fits on two screens and there’s no prompt to write. You click labels, that’s it.

How do you generate an image on eHentai AI?

To generate an image on eHentai AI: open a conversation, click Request a photo, pick an outfit (the only required field), optionally add an expression and a setting, then confirm with Request a photo. It costs 2 tokens. The image lands in the Photos tab after a few seconds.

Before you start

• An eHentai AI account — signing up is free

• A character. The catalogue ones work fine, but if you want your own, start with creating your character — free, takes 3 minutes

Step 1 — Open Request Photo

Two roads lead to the same place. From the character profile, it’s the Photo button (or Create Photo in the bottom banner). From a conversation, it’s Request Photo in the right-hand panel, right under the portrait.

That’s also where your gallery fills up underneath — a Photos tab on one side, Videos on the other. Remember that spot, we come back to it in step 4.

Step 2 — Pick the outfit (required)

The first screen of the form asks you one thing: the outfit. Three options, and the little Required badge is there to remind you that without a pick, the confirm button stays dead.

Worth knowing: this is the only required field in the whole form. Everything else you can skip.

Step 3 — Expression and setting (optional)

Second screen, two rows of labels. Expression: 12 moods. Environment: 14 locations, from the bedroom to the library to the beach. Both are marked Optional — you can ignore the lot and confirm straight away.

At the bottom, the button shows the price: Request a photo: 2. Those 2 are the tokens about to be charged. Click, and off it goes.

The tip that changes the output: take the time to pick a setting. Without one, the generator hands you a flat, neutral background. With “Library” or “Pool”, the image gains real atmosphere — for the same price.

Step 4 — Grab your image in the Photos tab

Generation runs in the background. Switch to the Photos tab (next to Videos): your thumbnail shows up with a loading spinner.

Give it a few seconds — no need to refresh, it updates on its own. And here’s the result:

Clean anime rendering, sharp lines, a character that matches the setting you asked for. Every image comes out with the eHentai.ai watermark in the bottom right.

This is the app’s strong suit, and it’s real: on drawn styles, the output holds up against apps costing a lot more.

What about video? The real weak spot

There’s a Videos tab sitting right next to Photos. I’ll be straight with you: I have never managed to get a single one out. I tried several times, on several characters. The tab is there, the promise is there, but nothing actually comes out.

That’s the app’s ceiling, and it stings a bit when you’re paying a subscription. If you come to eHentai for images, you’ll be happy. If you come for hentai video, you’re wasting your time.

Can you generate an image for free?

The free account gives you a starter balance, so yes, you can test without pulling out a card. But that balance doesn’t refill: once it’s gone, you need Premium to keep going. Worth noting though — character creation is completely free and unlimited: you can build your waifu and see what she looks like without spending a token.

Why isn't the Request a photo button responding?

Because you haven’t picked an outfit. It’s the only required field in the form — the Required badge under the Outfit heading flags it. Until it’s filled, the button stays inactive with no error message, which throws people the first time. Expression and setting can stay empty without any issue.

Can you write your own prompt?

No. eHentai works entirely through preset labels — outfit, expression, setting. That’s what makes it approachable: no blank page, no syntax to learn, you click and it works. But you lose all fine control over the output. Why do my images sometimes come out wrong?

The usual culprit is the framing you picked when creating the character. On Full Body, the AI has to handle the whole body, and that’s where it botches hands and feet most often. On 3/4 to Waist, it concentrates on the face and torso: the output is noticeably cleaner. You change that in the Dream Girl Builder, not in the photo form.
