The only real trap is not in the procedure, it is in what you lose afterwards — and it is written so quietly that most people miss it entirely.
How do you cancel Secrets AI?
To cancel Secrets AI: click your avatar top right, open Profile Settings, go to Subscription Plan then Manage Subscription. Click Cancel Subscription, then Continue on the retention screen, and finally Cancel plan. Your account drops to free at the end of the paid period.

Step 1 — Open your profile
From any page, click your avatar at the top right of the bar.
Step 2 — Profile Settings
The panel opens on your moments balance and your reset date. Scroll down to Profile Settings.
Worth noting: this panel shows your monthly quota and what is left of it. Before cancelling, take a look — unused moments are forfeited, so you may as well spend them while they are there.
Step 3 — Subscription Plan → Manage Subscription
In the settings, open the Subscription Plan tab. You will find your next billing date, the amount, and the subscription status.
Click Manage Subscription.
Step 4 — Cancel Subscription
You land on subscription management, with a summary of your plan. The Cancel Subscription button is right there, in red, visible, next to Change Plan.
No grey link buried under a big blue button like elsewhere. Worth pointing out, because it is rare.
Step 5 — The retention screen: click Continue
They remind you what you are giving up. This is the one moment the interface plays games: Keep The Premium Plan is a large orange button, while Continue sits in discreet grey at the bottom left.
⚠️ Read the box at the bottom, that is the real trap on this page: “Generated media will be deleted after 14 days on Free”. Your generated images and videos are wiped two weeks after you drop to the free plan. It is written nowhere else. Download whatever you want to keep before finishing the procedure.
Step 6 — Cancel plan
Final screen. It confirms the date your account reverts to free, and offers an optional field to say why you are leaving.
The button that confirms is Cancel plan, on the right. Careful: Keep My Subscription sits right next to it in bright purple.
And that is it. You stay Premium until the date shown — it is already paid for — then the account drops to free with nothing further charged.
Frequently asked questions
Do you get a refund when you cancel?
No. Cancelling stops the renewal, it does not refund the current period. You keep Premium access until the date shown, and nothing is charged after that.
What happens to my images and videos?
This is the most important point of this guide: they are deleted 14 days after you drop to the free plan. The information only appears in a small box on the retention screen. Download everything you want to keep first — there is no going back.
And my unused moments?
They are forfeited. The counter resets and the Premium quota goes with the subscription. If you cancel mid-cycle with a large balance, you may as well use it before finalising.
Do you have to contact support to cancel?
No, it is all done from your profile in six clicks. There is no form, no email to send, no blocking retention offer. On this front, Secrets is genuinely above the industry average.
Can you resubscribe afterwards?
Yes, any time from the same screen. But media already deleted after the 14 days does not come back: that removal is permanent.
